ILP Expands Board with
Accomplished Publishing and Entertainment Executives

ILP Adds Milena Alberti-Perez, former Penguin Random House CFO, and Sandy Climan Founder and CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures, as Directors

International Literary Properties (ILP), the global company that invests in, acquires, manages, and enhances literary estates, today welcomes two distinguished directors to its board: Milena Alberti-Perez, former Penguin Random House Global Chief Financial Officer, and Sandy Climan, Founder and CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures.

Milena Alberti-Perez is a seasoned financial, media, and technology executive with over twenty years of experience in book publishing and digital companies. She was a long-time executive at Penguin Random House (PRH), where she rose to become Global and US Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2017.

Alberti-Perez currently serves on the Board of Directors of NPR, Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI), Digimarc (NASDAQ: DMRC), Overdrive, Jumpstart and the Wild Bird Fund. She was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Getty Images, the world’s leading visual content company. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of MediaMath, a demand-side platform for programmatic marketing and advertising. Alberti-Perez worked in a variety of executive roles at PRH for over 15 years, serving as the head of Corporate Development/M&A from 2010 to 2015, and as Director of Spanish Language Publishing from 2004 to 2010. Alberti-Perez began her career in financial analyst and research roles at Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.

Sandy Climan is the Founder and CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures, a Los Angeles based strategic advisory and media investment company. Prior to founding Entertainment Media Ventures, Climan served as Corporate Executive Vice President and President of Worldwide Business Development at Universal Studios, where he oversaw corporate international strategy, strategic marketing, and five studio operating divisions.

Previously, Sandy served on the senior management team at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he founded CAA’s corporate practice. During this time, he was also a senior talent agent, representing Robert De Niro, Robert Redford, Kevin Costner, Danny DeVito, and director Michael Mann, as well as many prominent film and television production companies.

Climan was the Executive Producer of the first digital live-action 3D feature film, U2 3D, and Producer of The Aviator, for which he was awarded a British Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. He is also the recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Climan serves on several charitable boards, including the American Cinematheque, the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television, the Ellis Island Medals of Honor Society, and the World Arts Forum, the arts and cultural initiative of the World Economic Forum.
